Reimagining Cabaret: Journey Through the Genres celebrates the rich tapestry of Chicago's music scene, showcasing various genres, including jazz, blues, and pop. Directed and produced by Lynn Colbert-Jones, the event features more than a dozen talented performers, including Margaret Murphy Webb and Theodis Rodgers, Jr. at the piano. This initiative of Black Voices in Cabaret aims to highlight the diverse stories and voices within the cabaret tradition, all while delivering an engaging and joyful experience for audiences.
