Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812, created by Dave Malloy, comes to the Royal Alexandra Theatre in summer 2025 after a successful run in Toronto's 2023-24 theatre season. The musical, based on a segment of Leo Tolstoy's War and Peace, follows the story of Natasha, who becomes entangled in a romantic scandal that requires the help of Pierre to regain her reputation. The returning cast includes Hailey Gillis as Natasha and Evan Buliung as Pierre, with contributions from notable performers such as Divine Brown and Louise Pitre. Directed by Chris Abraham, this production promises an immersive theatrical experience filled with vibrant music and compelling storytelling.
