Just For One Day is a new musical that recounts the story behind the historic Live Aid concert of 1985. Composed by John O’Farrell and directed by Luke Sheppard, the production features a lineup of hit songs from iconic artists such as Queen, U2, and David Bowie. After its successful debut at London’s The Old Vic, the North American premiere is set to run at the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre in Toronto from January 26 to March 16, 2025. The show aims to celebrate the power of music to unite people and support charitable efforts, with 10% of ticket sales going to the Band Aid Charitable Trust.
