Hawkins' Broadway credits include Timbuktu! (1978), The Tap Dance Kid (1983), Honky Tonk Nights (1986), and Roza (1987). Off-Broadway, he appeared in The Crystal Tree (1981), The Gig (1994), and 70, Girls, 70 (2006). His regional theatre credits include The Desert Song (1984) and Roza (1986).

Playwright and Food Columnist Jonathan Reynolds Dies at 79

Broadway's SEXTET Writer Lee Goldsmith Has Passed Away at Age 98.

Lee Goldsmith, lyricist and book writer for what is thought to be the first musical on Broadway to feature lead characters who were gay (“Sextet,” which played the Bijou Theatre in 1974), died Oct. 5 in Cutler Bay, FL, at the age of 98.

Emmy-Winner Peter Scolari Passes Away at 66

Peter Scolari's Broadway credits included The Wizard in Wicked, Wilbur Turnblad in Hairspray, Yogi in Bronx Bombers, and Michael Daly in Lucky Guy. He was also seen in Magic/Bird, Sly Fox, and Ziegfeld Follies of 1936 at Encores! City Center. He is also known for his Emmy winning performance in Girls,  Newhart, Bosom Buddies, and Fosse/Verdon.

WILLY WONKA Songwriter Leslie Bricusse Dies at 90

Obituary: General Manager Thom Schilling Dies at 64

Thom Schilling, the general manager, production supervisor and stage manager for dozens of Broadway, Off-Broadway and global tours for over 40 years, died in his sleep on August 19 in New York City. The cause of death is not presently known. Born in 1956, Thom was 64 years old.
