Explore a mysterious land full of adventure, friends, and foes at Flat Rock Playhouse's final Studio 52 Series Production of 2019, The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. Set off on an unforgettable journey this November 8th - 17th on the Leiman Mainstage, as Flat Rock Playhouse presents a classic childhood tale like you've never seen it before. Celebrate the strength of family, bravery, and faith this holiday season with The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe.

NARNIA at Serenbe Playhouse, an immersive dramatization based on The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, tells of four English schoolchildren in the time of World War II who stumble upon a wardrobe which they discover to be a portal into a magical kingdom of called Narnia. A kingdom that is held in the power of the White Witch whose evil spell has frozen the land so that it is a?oealways winter a?" and never Christmas.a??  On the journey, the children are embraced by mystical animals and the good Narnians who resist the Witch's evil and await the return of Aslan a?" the Great Lion, who is their rightful ruler. 

The students of the Warner Theatre Center for Arts Education will present the first production of the 2019-2020 Young Actors Series, THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE., in the Nancy Marine Studio Theatre on November 16 and 17, 2019. The Young Actors Series is sponsored by The Lufkin Family Foundation.

Gamut Theatre Group will open Season 27 with its production of The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe based on the novel by C.S. Lewis and dramatized by Joseph Robinette. The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe runs November 15th through December 8th with performances Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. (Please note there will be no performance Saturday November 16th). Tickets to the show, as well as the opening night reception, are on sale now and group discounts are available for parties of 10 or more. Based on the novel by C. S. Lewis and directed by Sally Cookson, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe will have its first performance at the Bridge Theatre on 9 November 2019. Today (16 October 2019) rehearsal images are released on the 69th anniversary of the publication of the novel. Opening night is on 18 November and the production runs until 2 February 2020. Nuffield Southampton Theatres today announces CinderELLA The Musical, adapted and directed by Michael Fentiman with music and additional lyrics by Barnaby Race, as their 2019 Christmas show. This new adaptation of the classic myth features two protagonists, the younger Cinders who feels old beyond her years and the older Ella who remembers when she danced as a girl at the Midnight Ballroom.
