Pittsburgh Opera present their production of The Barber of Seville, Rossini's farcical opera. The first in the trilogy starring the mischievous Count Almavira and his wily servant Figaro as they take on the adventure of wooing the witty beauty Rosina, right out from under the nose of Dr Bartolo. With devious disguises, meddlesome mishaps, the fate of the heart of this young girl is one thrilling and hilarious ride!
This delightful ensemble production stars Jonathan Beyer as Figaro, Michele Angelini as Count Almavira and Emily Fons as Rosina. A must see for fans of this 200 year old masterpiece!
