The year is 1953, and George and Charlotte Hay find themselves struggling to perform two classic plays at a local repertory theatre. Amidst family crises, infidelity, and binge drinking, the company hilariously tries to pull it all together for their special matinee visitor, Hollywood hotshot Frank Capra.
