For this run we are casting:
The Ringmaster (M/F, Any age)?
High Priest and Master of Ceremonies, he runs the show and holds status even over onstage deities.
Mosely (F 20’s-30’s)
Sexy, flamboyant, and entrepreneurial, Mosley mashes up Lady Gaga’s style with Marilyn Monroe’s classic beauty. Mosley plays our love goddesses and bombshell archetypes.
P.J. (F 20’s-30’s)?
Kind, happy and credulous, she believes anything presented to her. Dorothy Gale meets Zooey Deschanel and have a baby named P.J.
These following roles are cast, but we are accepting submissions for understudies and future casting.
Reverent John (M, 30’s-40’s)?
The smartest and coolest, John respects all ceremonies and beliefs while remaining personally skeptical. John plays the part of most of the heroes in our stories.
Verrell (M, 30’s-40’s)?
Wild man, coyote, Animal, Harpo. Verrell believes in chaos and clever deconstruction.
Delta (M 20’s-30’s)
Thuggish and thoughtless, he respects only his parochial views and believes in power. Delta plays the tough guys and holders of authority.
Beria (F 30’s-40’s)
?Uptight and self-centered, she believes in regiment, procedure, and conventional thinking. Her heroes are Margaret Dumont and Stalin.
This company of players in turn performs an epic 67 gods, historical persons, and cultural archetypes. 44 Males, 12 Females, and 11 of irrelevant gender.
Auditions will take place during the week of April 15 and will consist of:
1-2 minute comic monologue
16 bars a-capella song of your choice
