AUDITION NOTICE: Things Fall Apart: A Zombie Apocalypse Musical is a dark romantic comedy set in a post-post-apocalyptic world recovering from a zombie outbreak. After spending the first three years of the zombie apocalypse running for his life, Walt has finally had enough. With his best friend John, and John's fiance Barbara, he decides that it is finally time to put his foot down and take back the world. It starts out great; the first survivor that runs into their fledgling town is the lovely Catherine. Unfortunately for Walt, the second survivor is her boyfriend, Ben. As civilizations and romances both start to bloom, the threat of zombies ruining it all becomes ever more present. There will be two separate but simultaneous productions of Things Fall Apart running at same time, in both Gorilla Tango's Skokie Theater, as well as their space in Bucktown.
Audition Date(s)/Time(s): Wednesday, January 9th, from 6-8 PM and Thursday January 10th from 6-8 PM. Audition Location: Wednesday the 9th: Gorilla Tango Bucktown Theatre (1919 N. Milwaukee Ave. Chicago, IL.) Thursday the 10th: 7924 Lincoln Ave Skokie, IL 60077 Pay:On Extension Type Restrictions: Looking to cast 4 men and 4 women for each production, all who read somewhere in their mid twenties to early thirties.
Time Commitment: Rehearsals start Monday, the 14th. The shows go up the 1st and 2nd of March in Skokie and Chicago, respectively. They will run every Friday and Saturday of the month, respectively.
