Strongly seeking actors from all cultural backgrounds for all roles.
Claude Pichon: Writer, owns a bookstore. Fairly serious, acts as straightman to Albert’s wit. Appears onstage most of the play. Has the shortest monologue. (20s-40s)
Mariette Levieux: Attractive. Strong, straightforward, and sarcastic. Comes in and out throughout the play. Medium monologue. (20s-40s)
Albert Donay: A used car salesman and abstract painter with a funny, dry wit. Onstage most of the play. Medium monologue. (30s-50s)
Yvonne Fouchet: Young, pretty, but not too stylish. Hypertense neurotic, has been hurt which has made her unsure of herself. Appears in the second half of the play, longest monologue. (20s-30s)
Andre Bouville: Rich, arragant, sarcastic wit. A men’s clothing tycoon who is very self-assured. Comes in and out throughout the play. Medium monologue. (30s-50s)
Gabrielle Buonocelli: Strong, elegant, and commanding. This whole arrangement is her game. Appears in the last ¼ of the play. A couple of monologues. (Late 30s-50s)
