TCHAIKOVSKY: MAD BUT FOR MUSIC - Baltimore Symphony Orchestra

On behalf of the BSO, we are pleased to announce an opportunity for actors in the Baltimore/DC Metro area to perform in a symphonic play about TCHAIKOVSKY(!) alongside the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra with Music Director, Marin Alsop. Below you will find information about how to apply and the dates of the rehearsal and performance period.

Tchaikovsky: Mad But for Music
A Symphonic Play written and directed by Denise Balle, performed in collaboration with Music Director Marin Alsop and The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra

We are seeking applicants for the roles below!
• Pytor Ilyich Tchaikovksy (Male)
• Antonina Milyukova (Female)
• Modest Tchaikovksy (Male)
• Mrs. Nadezhda von Meck (female)
(Actors are welcome to audition for more than one role)

First round audition submitted electronically via video

In person Call-back auditions will be held on Saturday, November 15th, 2014 at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, Baltimore, MD from 10:00am—2:00pm.

PRODUCTION SCHEDULE:
Thursday, April 2, 2015—Thursday, April 9th, 2015: Staging Rehearsals and Orchestra Dress Rehearsal, Baltimore MD
Friday, April 10th, 2015: Performance, Music Center at Strathmore, North Bethesda, MD
Saturday, April 11th, 2015 : Performance, Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, Baltimore, MD
