AUDITIONS: The Complete Works Of William Shakespeare (Abridged) June 27 & 28, 6:30-8:30pm Freeport Players is holding open auditions for The Complete Works Of William Shakespeare (Abridged). Roles for 3 adults ready to throw themselves into energetic, physical comedy with a touch of improv. Both men and women will be considered for roles. Directed by Elizabeth Guffey. In this hilarious comedy by Adam Long, Daniel Singer and Jess Winfield, three madcap actors in tights weave their wicked way through all of Shakespeare's comedies, histories, and tragedies in one wild ride that will leave you breathless and helpless with laughter. From well known comedies and tragedies to the more obscure problem plays and even the sonnets -- this is a great introduction for those new to the Bard and a great review for those familiar with the canon. Actors will be employing improv, physical comedy and traditional acting skills in this enemble piece.
