AUDITIONS
The Bowery Birds
an all-female singing group
ages 15-25
to perform and record original and period pieces based on the history of New York's Lower East Side
weekly rehearsals: Wednesdays 6-8pm
concerts and recording dates TBA, starting in September and culminating in May 2014 for 'Lower East Side History Month'
non-union, no pay
musical material ranges from modern rock opera to 1920's jazz to traditional folk music
formal vocal training not required, but we are looking for singers who love range of music, have a good ear, and learn quickly
Auditions: Saturday, June 8th
These are group auditions - singers will learn a brief song and record it as well as get more details on the project

Please do not audition if you are not actually in the 15-25 age range.
