Rentboy, the Musical breaks entirely new ground in New York Theater. This lively new musical is set on the night of the famous Hookies Awards, the Oscars of Male Escorts, where gigolos receive awards for their erotic talents. In the show we see a gala award ceremony, we hear the personal stories of men-for-sale, and wacky, raunchy tales about their working lives. There are romantic songs too, as loves grows between a Rentboy and one of his clients. Its wild and wonderful new kind of musical romp with 14 original songs, which reveal the stories of these male escorts in words, song, dance and in the flesh.
This musical employs male actors only (some play multiple roles) who must sing, dance and be comfortable with partial nudity. All races and ethnicity are encouraged to apply; however actors must be in very good physical shape. This is a non-equity production.
