Salt Luck Arts (in conjunction with Mobtown Theater) Announces AUDITIONS for the NEW PLAY ORACULOUS on September 10, 2012
Oraculous retells the classic myth of Hades-the god of the Grecian underworld-and of Persephone-a beautiful young maiden kidnapped and made his wife-from a different perspective: Persephone's. In this new work by Baltimore playwright Annelise Montone, Persephone's later appearance in myth as as the cold and inflexible "iron queen" of the dead is revealed to be the result of a mysterious oracle, the first in history, to enter the world of the damned. Oraculous is the story of Persephone's journey from virginal maiden to all-powerful queen-in spite of the treacherous gods, including her own sons, who populate her realm of shadows-and of the terrible sacrifices that growing up demands of us all.
We are looking for:

2 males aged 20-30s
1 female aged 30-60
3 females aged 20s-30s
