Auditions for Theatrical Mining Company's Baltimore Playwrights Festival production of Mark Scarf's Hired Gun will be held at Load of Fun Arts on Wednesday, April 25th at 7pm. Hired Gun by Mark Scharf (Season 31 Production)

Dates: July 12th - July 29th Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays at 8 PM, Sundays at 2 PM

Synopsis: It's better to burn out, than to fade away, rock n' roll will never die…

Once there was the King, the Killer and the Fat Man of Rock n’ Roll – but time has left Dewitt, the Fat Man, forgotten in the Louisiana bayou and Jesse now has the fastest and cleanest hand in rock. Dewitt sees his way back to the top with Jesse playing for him; intrigued by the faded rockabilly star, Jesse travels to the bayou only to find out that rock n’ roll never dies – even when it should.

Character Description DEWITT: Late 60’s, former Rockabilly star. Guitar playing a plus

JESSE: late 20’s/mid 30’s. Hot shot lead guitar studio musician. Guitar playing a plus

SHERRI: late 30’s, local girl and the latest of DEWITT’s wives

RED: late 60’s, DEWITT’s boyhood friend, bodyguard, right-hand man and Mr. Fix-it.
