SPOTLIGHT THEATRE is holding Auditions for the Westchester premier of the Broadway hit musical comedy DISASTER with unforgettable songs of the 70's.
All Roles are Open! We are seeking a cast of 24 adults and mature teens and a young man ages 8 to 12 to play the various quirky characters who panic as their floating casino/discotheque succumbs to multiple Disasters.

AUDITION PREPARATION
– Bring resume and headshot.
– Everyone auditioning should come prepared to sing 32 bars of your best DISCO, UPBEAT, or 1970s POWER BALLAD. Please bring sheet music in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided.
– You may be asked to read from the script or to sing from the score.
– DISASTER! THE MUSICAL is scheduled for six performances, weekends Nov 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10 2019.
Please bring a list of all conflicts from September through November 2019. Rehearsals are tentatively set to begin Tuesday September 17. Rehearsals will be Tuesdays & Thursday evenings from 7:30pm to 10pm and Saturdays from 9am to 1pm at the Field Library in Peekskill. We may have to switch a rehearsal day if necessary.
Tech Week will be Saturday October 26 thru and including October 31 at the Julie Harris Theatre – Clearview School, Briarcliff Manor. Times will vary on weekend, Mon-Thurs from 7pm to 11pm, and brush up rehearsal on Wednesday November 6 from 7pm to 11pm.
