Prepare:
Come prepared to make the director laugh. Jokes and/or monologues are acceptable (no bathroom humor, please). Actors will also be asked to read from the script.

Male Roles:
The Earl of Caversham, K.G. (age 50+)
Viscount Goring, his son (age 25-45)
Sir Robert Chiltern, Bart., Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs (age 30-45)
Vicomte de Nanjac, Attache at the French Embassy in London, (ability to speak with a French accent a plus, but not necessary)
Female Roles:
Lady Chiltern (age 20-35)
Miss Mabel Chiltern, Sir Robert Chiltern's sister (age 20-35)
Mrs. Cheveley (age 20-35)

Synopsis:
How far would a person go to ruin another's reputation? How far would a person go to protect it? Oscar Wilde explores these questions with his usual wit and withering flair in An Ideal Husband.
