A Bat Boy is discovered in a cave near the coal-mining town of Hope Falls, West Virginia, and is taken in by the local vet’s family. As Bat Boy becomes more human and Shelley, the vet’s daughter, fall in love, the town’s hatred boils over and just when you think you’ve figured it all out—BAM! You’ll be hit with a twist you’ll never see coming.
