This annual event focuses on educating our communities about the legacy of César E. Chávez, an unselfish advocate of social justice and respect for human dignity. The celebration’s programming highlights the youth in our community who every year interpret Chavez’s words through student contests. Winners will be showcased at a free celebration event held in Marcus Performing Arts Center’s Wilson Theater at Vogel Hall. Theme: Innovation This years event includes Mercadera Market from noon to 4:00 PM in Bradley Pavilion. The celebration itself will be in Wilson Theater at Vogel Hall starting at 4:00 PM.
