The City of Aventura presents a performance by The New World School of the Arts Dance Division, one of the country's leading conservatories of dance, nationally recognized for the exceptionally high technical and artistic level of its dance students, its distinguished professional faculty, and the success of its alumni, who have joined the professional field of dance at the highest levels throughout the U.S. and abroad. This performance features NWSA High School and College dancers performing works in both ballet and contemporary styles including the beautiful and lyrical work, "Adorations", choreographed by modern dance icon Martha Graham; the first movement of Jose Limon's soaring work, "Waldstein Sonata", set to the Beethoven piano sonata of the same name; and Lara Murphy's evocative contemporary ballet "Cortical Voyage", among others.
