Meet the students and staff at Wayside School: Calvin has a tattoo of a potato on his ankle. Deedee owns a pet dog named Cat. Stephen has green hair colored by pool chlorine. Miss Mush is the school cook and her most popular hot lunch is “nothing,” which she runs out of often. Miss Nogard is a substitute teacher who has a third ear on the top of her head which can read minds. Mr. Kidswatter is the principal and dislikes all children. It all makes perfect sense in a one room school that is 30 “stories” high!
