The play follows a group of strangers stuck in a diner during a wild snowstorm. The combination of personalities in one room makes for a night full of elements such as worry, romance, happiness, sadness, and overall a multitude of complex emotions.
The Possum Juniors are an educational affiliate, which further comes to light through director Braeden Swain’s vision in the show. Not only does he push to teach his cast about aspects such as character development and complex dynamics, but this summer also established a mentoring program. In the program, students were able to work with an older partner in different backstage areas. Each adult head of departments such as set design, makeup design, and costume design had a small set of PJs “mentees” they worked with to create the show at hand.
