Based on the popular comic strip and adapted from the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, with a beloved book and score by Tony Award winners, Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, Annie JR. features everyone’s favorite little redhead in her very first adventure. Set in New York City during the Great Depression, the story revolves around a plucky young orphan named Annie who lives in the grim and strict orphanage run by the tyrannical Miss Hannigan. Annie’s life takes an unexpected turn when she is chosen to spend the Christmas holidays at the mansion of the wealthy industrialist Oliver Warbucks. As Annie charms Warbucks and his staff with her boundless optimism, they embark on a quest to find Annie’s long-lost parents. Along the way, Annie’s infectious spirit touches the hearts of those around her, including President Franklin D. Roosevelt. “Annie JR.” is a heartwarming tale of hope, family, and the belief that even in the toughest times, tomorrow will be better. Run Time: 90 minutes with a 15 minute intermission
