Join Gary Thomas and his jazz quartet The Tom-Toms, for the 70th anniversary celebration of the release of two seminal Frank Sinatra albums "Songs for Young Lovers" and "Swing Easy", in his cabaret show, "It Was A Very Good Year-Sinatra '54". Frank Sinatra's career took a nosedive in the late 1940s and early 50s. The year is 1954 and Sinatra hasn't released an album in four years. In January 1954, he releases the album "Songs for Young Lovers", in March he wins the Academy Award for his performance in "From Here to Eternity", and in August, he releases the album "Swing Easy", setting the stage for one of the most remarkable comebacks for an entertainer in the 20th century. You'll hear selections from these two albums along with some familiar Sinatra classics. Special guest vocalist, John Connors.
