The Folk Collective at Club Passim will host its inaugural Indigenous People’s Day concert on October 12, featuring an array of Indigenous performers. Curated by Kim Moberg and Maxfield Anderson, the event includes traditional and contemporary contributions from the Wampanoag Nation Singers and Dancers, alongside performances by singer-songwriters Thea Hopkins and Mwalim. This celebration aims to showcase the ongoing tradition of Indigenous music and stories within the folk genre.
