On the second Thursday of October, Nashville residents and music fans celebrated the return of Dancin' In The District by doing exactly what the event's name suggests: dancing. The Riverfront rocked with Leftover Salmon, JoJo Herman & Slim Wednesday, Space Capone, Alanna Royale, and Tennessee Muscle Candy, along with Nashville Legends Jam featuring Pat McLaughlin, Rodney Crowell, The McCrary Sisters, and Joe Bonamassa. And in true Nashville fashion, the house band—Kenny Greenberg on guitar, Michael Rhodes on bass, and Chad Cromwell on drums—was legendary, too. The mission of Dancin' has always been to reconnect locals and the music scene to Nashville's famed Lower Broadway district. Founder, Tom Morales, puts it this way, 'As Nashville begins to face another identity crisis we felt the revival of such an event as Dancin' in the District would be a perfect opportunity to remind locals, especially those new to Nashville, that Lower Broadway was once a platform for music discovery. This free community event brought music back downtown and we're working hard to do it again.'

The United Palace, one of five famed “Loews Wonder Theatres” will celebrate its 90th anniversary on February 22, 2020 with a concert featuring the legendary singer, songwriter and performer Ms. Lauryn Hill. The concert will be the first of several anniversary events commemorating the venue's long history – first as a vaudeville and deluxe movie house, followed by its transformation into the Home of Spiritual Artistry and theater.

To that end, the dog-loving duo took most of their video budget, donated it to the Animal Hope and Wellness animal shelter in L.A. and spent the day at the facility playing with the rescue dogs currently available for adoption. This is not Matt and Kim's first time shining a light on animals in need. Along their past tours, the band invited local rescue agencies to set up information tables in the venue lobby and donated raffle money from Matt and Kim merch to those local shelters. They were also advocates of PETA2's “Adopt Don't Shop” campaign.
