Los Angeles-based acoustic guitarist, singer, and songwriter IAN GOTHE has shared the first offering from his debut album MEMENTO via his interpretation of the Doors classic 'Spanish Caravan.' The video was premiered yesterday (October 30) via Guitar Player magazine in advance of the single's November 1 release. Look for the album, co-produced by IAN with Grammy-winning producer and engineer Jim Scott (Wilco, Tom Petty), to be available February 7, 2020 via the California-based Blackbird Record Label.

To celebrate the release of Thom Yorke's new video for 'Last I Heard (...He Was Circling The Drain)”from his current album ANIMA (released June 27 on XL Recordings), ANIMA Technologies opened its L.A. offices with a three-day immersive first look event. The 5-minute short film, made at the Brooklyn-based experimental studio Art Camp, is set in a dream world inspired by fragments of Thom Yorke and Stanley Donwood's imagination and made up of over 3000 hand-illustrated frames. The first clips of the film were shown throughout the ANIMA Technologies' offices, on desktop monitors as well as a custom-constructed TV wall. Sound experience was provided by Sonos.

Wrong Again is Ags Connolly's third studio album, following on from his highly-acclaimed offerings How About Now (2014) and Nothin' Unexpected (2017). The traditional country singer-songwriter from Oxfordshire, England, took the reins on this latest effort, producing the album with a team of London-based musicians in the peaceful and intimate surroundings of Woodworm Studios in his home county. Ags also enlisted the expert help of accordionist Michael Guerra (The Mavericks) and fiddle player Eamon McLoughlin (Emmylou Harris, Rodney Crowell), both of whom had graced his previous album.
In honor of the one-year anniversary of their universally acclaimed sophomore LP Burnt Sugar, Florida punks Gouge Away have reworked their b-side hit “Stray.” The track flaunts the softer side of Gouge Away — gauzy vocals, warbly guitar leads, and dreamy melodies— and today, they've unveiled their music video for the song. The “Stray” video offers a glimpse into the life of Gouge Away on the road, where they've spent the entirety of the last year in support of Burnt Sugar. The band comments: 'This is a project we made for ourselves that we wanted to share with you,” the band says of the track. “The music video is like a scrapbook to appreciate the opportunities we've been granted and the bands we've been able to call friends along the way.
