Combining taiko drums, bamboo flutes, colorful costumes, and dance, Taikoza draws upon Japan’s rich traditions of music and performance. The group creates new sounds using traditional taiko drums and koto (a 13-string instrument) as well as the shakuhachi and the fue (both bamboo flutes) to entertain audiences of all ages.
Taikoza created the music for the Nintendo Wii games Red Steel 1 and Red Steel 2. Don’t miss their room-thumping energy.
