For nearly two decades, the name of a traditional Irish jig has become equally well known as the name for one of the most engaging ensembles in Irish music: Cherish the Ladies. The group won recognition as the first and only all-woman traditional Irish band, but soon established themselves as an Irish music sensation. Maura O’Connell joins Cherish the Ladies along with an all-star dance ensemble featuring champion dancers and former dance ensemble members of Riverdance and The Chieftains.
