Get a behind-the-scenes look at Stage Entertainment's production of Disney's AIDA, the musical by Elton John and Tim Rice has been reworked and updated, and made its premiere in the Netherlands on 23 April 2023 in the AFAS Circustheater in Scheveningen.

Casting for the title role in the new Disney musical HERCULES in Hamburg was announced at an event open to the press yesterday. Benét Monteiro will take on the role of Hercules, and his single version of Go The Distance will also be released on all streaming platforms on Friday. Germany loves TINA - THE Tina Turner MUSICAL: the only original production by Stage Entertainment authorized by Tina Turner celebrated the German premiere in the Hamburg State 'Operettenhaus' on Sunday evening.

Last month over 200,000 new tickets were released for sale for TINA - THE Tina TURNER MUSICAL, the show based on the life of legendary artist Tina Turner, with bookings now being taken at the Aldwych Theatre to Saturday 21 December 2019.

The first single from the upcoming TINA - THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL cast album is released today, to download and stream, by the Producers of Tina - The Tina Turner Musical and Ghostlight Records (5 February 2019) featuring Adrienne Warren performing the iconic song River Deep - Mountain High. Warren, who has played the role in the hit West End production since its world premiere, is featured on an accompanying music video of the single also released today. On this week's THE VIEW, host Whoopi Goldberg was joined by Kathy Najimy, Beth Fowler, and composer Marc Shaiman for a special 25th Anniversary celebration of the 1992 musical film SISTER ACT.

The new musical, ANASTASIA, opens tonight on Broadway at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street), produced by Stage Entertainment, Bill Taylor (Sister Act, Rocky), Tom Kirdahy (It's Only A Play, The Visit) and Hunter Arnold (Kinky Boots, Spring Awakening). The company is led by Christy Altomare, Derek Klena, John Bolton, Ramin Karimloo, Caroline O'Connor and Mary Beth Peil.

Sierra Boggess is best known world-wide for re-inventing the role of Christine in The Phantom of the Opera. Composer Andrew Lloyd Webber calls her 'the best Christine certainly.' She played the role in the Broadway, West End, and the televised 25th Anniversary concert productions of Phantom filmed at London's Royal Albert Hall (available on DVD). During a performance with the Princeton Symphony Orchestra, Boggess performed Pense a Moi, Think of Me, from the French production. Check out the video below!
